The United Barbadians in Massachusetts (UBIM) was formed with the full suppport of the Barbados Consulate at New York. UBIM foresees the planning and preparation of the Barbados Independence Gala celebrations held annually in the month of November.

Mission

To provide an avenue for Barbadians of all generations in Massachusetts to participate in cultural activities sponsored by UBIM and to preserve and celebrate the uniqueness of the Barbadian culture as part of our contribution to the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
